KAIYO Rooftop is a tropical oasis in the sky, an immersive Nikkei experience that transports guests the moment they walk through the elevator door. Plants, rich textiles, and stunning food & cocktails invite guests to explore the Japanese culinary influence within Peruvian culture.

Our Cocktail bar and lounge offer a full beverage menu and shareable cuisine designed for enjoying your afternoon and evening with friends or colleagues. Our KAIYŌ restaurant on the ground floor of the Hyatt tentatively opens in Spring of 2023 and will provide a full dining experience. Until then, we recommend our Cow Hollow location if you are looking to join us for a traditional seated dinner. We strongly recommend reservations, but there is space to enjoy cocktails and take in the sweeping views of San Francisco downtown skyline at our standing bar.

To enjoy KAIYŌ Cuisine at our rooftop, a reservation is required.

KAIYŌ Rooftop is located on the 12th floor of the Hyatt Place Hotel in the SOMA district directly next door to the SF Giants stadium, close to the Golden State Warrior’s Chase Stadium, and a few blocks away from the Moscone Convention Center.

Once the sun sets, the San Francisco weather can get coOL quickly, so please dress for comfort. KAIYŌ will continue to provide heat and comfort to our guests.

Semi-Private Areas for your Large Parties

Our group spaces are designed for optimal semi-private cocktail parties serving cocktails and small bites. Reservations are for a 3-hour time period and will provide both seating and standing room for your guests. Inquire to learn more about pricing and minimums.
